I started to understanding audience analysis for Unit 10 because it allowed me to find a tv or film that has attitudes and good interests for the audience and I chose the movie, and the decision was picking Venom (2018).
I've been researching more features about tween audience than tween comedy like finding movies and TV's shows that relates with diverse cultures and humours and my next step was adding references for the unit.
March 2025
I started to add up more skills for tween audience in Unit 10 by making a script for the tween audience and script was a conversation of my characters and it went well because before increasing the topic, I was finishing Unit 12 and I started to get confused if I finished Unit 10 or not and it was about tween audience so I made a treatment, normal pitch for my video and took an assessment form for filming and it was alright and got signed by the tutor.
I filmed a scene in Longley building mess hall before the filming, I created a schedule when I start to film and added backup that involves for delaying and not allowing to film another place in college and not available for the students that I chose for my scene. I had a crew, and it were myself and Ben Jordan and cast for my characters were Nadir Ahmed and Harry Buxton. In the scene, we took around six takes with a clapperboard. It went well because I focused the right angle, and I made a good process by paying attention with my iPhone and keeping the flow engaging. And the adaptation was frame shot from iPhone commercials, and it was iPhone 15 Pro Presentation.
I made a video in Adobe Premiere Pro for Unit 10, and I added a soundtrack of Venom and opening logo of PlayStation Studios and those were uploading to mp4 from YouTube, and my decision was to add more details like who's got the credit while I was filming. I was happy with process by turning into normal pitch like rest of the normal videos and my next step was doing Final Major Project.
Alternate of Unit 10 - Practical from other student's project
In the TV studio, I started to use a clapperboard and started to clap every take, and it helped keep track of takes and scenes, which made it easier to stay on schedule and the clapperboard made the whole process feel more professional around me and it gave a sense of structure to the filming that was helpful.
In the TV studio, I started to use a clapperboard for the second time around the lesson and started to write every take and rolls to see which one is better than the other with a marker and took four takes and it went well because director wanted me to feel serious for his movie for taking takes.
